Parties & Events: Digital Caricature Event
 Live digital caricature is a unique, new, and exciting form of entertainment for your guest that brings traditional caricature to a whole new level. See an experienced artist bring an image to life with more guests able to see the drawing created comfortably from afar. Guests receive a printed copy on the spot as well as a digital version as a memorable keepsake! There is definitely an extra WOW factor that will impress any guest.
The magic happens just like traditional caricatures -- the artist hand draws the sitting subject in real-time in front of an audience where friends and family can see the image unfold before their eyes. However, unlike traditional caricatures, the image is drawn on a digital tablet and digital pencil and projected magically onto a flat screen tv. The image is then immediately printed with a portable printer with a digital version of the original drawing that can be downloaded as a soft-copy.

Art Medium:
Ink on photo paper. Digital print 4" x 6" (hard-copy) + High-resolution JPG (soft-copy ready for download within 24 hours after the event)
Rate per artist:
$275/hour for 2+ hours per artist; $137.50/half-hour for 2+ hours per artist (Ex. $350 if booking only 1 hour per artist, $525 for 1.5 hours per artist, $550 for 2 hours per artist, $825 for 3 hours per artist, and so on)
# of faces/hour (b&w):
approximately 12-15/hr
# of faces/hour (color):
approximately 8-10/hr
Artist brings:
paper, plastic sleeves, iPad, small printer, 24" Flatscreen TV, TV stand, lighting (Note: power available upon request for an extra fee)
Resources requested at the venue:
a stable table and 3 chairs (1 for artist, 2 for guests) and a power source (Note: power available upon request for an extra fee)
Minimum Space Requirement:
6x6 area.
Complimentary Optional Add-on (Cost: FREE):
Custom text or your logo (provided by you). Custom text examples: "Happy 50th Birthday, Michael," "Holiday Party 2022," "Sandy's Bat Mitzvah," "The Wedding of Robin and Larry," "TiVo," "WeWork," etc. will be printed on each page.
Optional Add-on: Pre-drawn bodies.
Pre-drawn body template for the event, $100/design (ex. Superhero, riding a vehicle, etc.)
Optional Add-on: Group Composition.
$100 Group caricature composition (up to 25 faces), $200 Group caricature composition (up to 50 faces), $300 Group caricature composition (up to 75 faces), $400 Group caricature composition (up to 100 faces)
Note: this service is the composition of faces that have already been drawn at the event. If you would like to have more people drawn after the event (a la carte), it is a separate service detailed below. Art is composed and provided within 1 week after receiving all additional photo assets after event. Deliverable: High-resolution print-ready JPG/PDF, size of your choice (ex. 8.5" x 11," 9" x 12," 11" x 17," 10" x 10," etc.)
Optional Add-on: A la carte faces.
If you would like to have more people drawn that weren't able to be drawn at the event, I can draw from photos after the event in the same style. Please provide good reference photos showing the whole head shape within 1 week after the event. Pro-rated at $35 per face.
Travel Fee:
Depending on the event's location, a travel fee may apply to cover gasoline expense, vehicle "wear & tear" and driving time. Mile distance is calculated using Google Maps driving directions, from caricature artist's home in Redondo Beach to event location. Any distance under 100 round-trip driving miles will not be charged a travel fee. For example, for an event in Cerritos, the approximate round-trip mileage is approximately 40 miles, and takes an estimated 1 hour to 2 hours round-trip, depending on traffic. The applicable travel fee for your event would be WAIVED.
Retainer Fee: $100 minimum, non-refundable, applied to your total.
The retainer fee reserves your date and time. In the extremely rare event of the artist being unable to perform, Client will be notified as far in advance as possible and any retainer fee(s) will be refunded in full. Remaining balance is due at the day of your event.
